Account settings
Open Settings from the user menu in the top right of the dashboard.
Profile
- Profile photo: upload an image and crop it.
- Name: what the dashboard calls you.
- Email: the address you sign in with. Enter a new one and we email a verification link to it; the change lands when you open that link.
Rapidbot has no password to change. See Signing in.
Subscription
The subscription card shows your plan, its status, and the date it renews or ends.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Your subscription is running. |
| Trial | You are in a trial period. |
| Free | No subscription is currently active on your account. A failed payment and an ended subscription both land here. |
Actions
- View invoices opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can read your payment history and update your card.
- Cancel subscription schedules the cancellation for the end of the current billing period. Your server keeps running until then, and the card shows the date.
- Reactivate appears once a cancellation is scheduled, and takes it back. It is available until the period ends.
Your plan says "Free" and features have disappeared
While a payment is outstanding, Rapidbot treats the account as unsubscribed: the Backups page shows an upgrade prompt, the Custom domain and Tailscale cards revert to upgrade prompts, and View plans replaces View invoices.
Your server keeps running and your data stays where it is. Stripe retries the charge over the following days. If every retry fails, we cancel the subscription and destroy the server with it.
To fix it, open the billing portal from the payment-failure email Stripe sent you. If you bought AI credits, the Update payment method button on that card stays available in this state and opens the same portal. Everything comes back on the next successful charge, and contact us if you have neither.
If you bought AI credits, they are billed on this same subscription. Any unspent reserve is tied to the server, so spend it before the end date.
Getting your data out
No plan has a download button for server data. Backups stay on Rapidbot, and we destroy them with the server.
While your server is still running you have full root access, so copy anything you want to keep off it over SSH or the web terminal. Do this before you cancel or delete.
Deleting your account
Select Delete account in the danger zone. The dialog asks for a reason and asks you to type your email address to confirm, then Schedule deletion.
After you schedule it:
- We destroy your server and cancel your subscription right away.
- Your account enters a 30-day grace period, and signing in takes you to a page that shows the deletion date.
- Select Cancel deletion on that page at any point during those 30 days to keep the account. Your server does not come back.
- After 30 days we remove your account and everything still held for it.
